Better Together Marriage Initiative was created to change that.
We believe God has already given us the blueprint for marriage through His Word, one that does not just transform relationships, but sustains them through every season.
This is a space where couples can be poured into, strengthened, and reminded that healthy, thriving marriages are possible with God at the center.
Meet Vince & Shelita
We’re Vince and Shelita, and we’ve been married for 37 years. And if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s this, marriage takes commitment, patience, and a willingness to grow.
Like any couple, we’ve faced challenges along the way. From the very beginning, we made a decision that divorce would never be an option. Instead, we chose to work through every season with open and honest communication and with God at the center.
Over the years, God has continued to shape and strengthen our marriage. After experiencing a renewal in our own relationship, we knew we were not meant to keep what we have learned to ourselves.
For the past 17 years, we have had the honor of serving as marriage leaders at Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Riverdale, Georgia, and walking alongside other couples, helping them navigate marriage with practical tools, biblical principles, and real life wisdom that actually works.

Each month, we come together for honest, faith filled conversations that meet couples right where they are.
Through our “Tap In” Couples Bible Study, we create space for real dialogue, practical tools, and biblical wisdom that can be applied to everyday life and marriage.
We talk about the things that matter, how we communicate, how we love, how we forgive, and how we stay connected through every season.
We gather on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM via Zoom.
We’re building more than a Bible study, we’re building a community.
As Better Together continues to grow, our vision is to create spaces where couples can experience connection beyond the screen.
We imagine moments where couples can step away from the busyness of life to be refreshed during marriage retreats or simply enjoy one another through intentional date nights, shared outings, and relaxed time together.
We also look forward to creating fun, meaningful experiences like Pray and Paint gatherings and game nights, where laughter, conversation, and community come naturally.
Because marriage is not just about working through challenges, it is also about enjoying the journey together.
